Why Testing?

I am a Mechanical engineer who graduated during COVID-19. Then, I took a course in Selenium - it's about automation testing. Later, I became interested in manual testing, and that’s when a spark was created between me and testing to suggest better designs in the developed projects.

Why PayHuddle, Bangalore?

Like every youngster, I wished to visit Bangalore and ended up coming here to attend an interview. I was selected on that same day by two companies but in different locations - Chennai and Bangalore. In that, PayHuddle scared me more than the other company. My reasons are the new - location, environment, people, and language.

Why is Change Good?

The first day started with the struggle to introduce myself to new people. Then, communicate my thoughts clearly and crisply in a diverse environment like PayHuddle. It even complicated the project work.

From that moment, a change was needed: to learn different small things, starting with communicating effectively. Now, all the suffering ends through continuous learning.

Why Diversity in Everything?

Until our college life, we would have travelled with the same experienced people. When we enter the work environment, we directly work with seniors with plenty of work and life experience. Then, colleagues and clients from different parts of the world. They can give us a whole new perspective on life and work.

Why do I call “PayHuddle - My Turning and Breaking Point?”

Tecto is one of the important products of our company. I was excited to be involved in that project so soon. While I was testing, Prakash(our CEO) came and asked us two basic questions:

  1. What is the use of the product that you are testing? Gee! No Answers
  2. Who are the end users, and how will they use it? Uh-oh! No Responses

Till that time, I never had the mindset to ask why? What? And Who? Questions in my work.

It may seem a simple question - to which most of us out there don’t have the answer, but that answer will give meaning to our work. Golly! I can say it was a turning point in my career.

Well! It never matters if you have completed your task or not if you don’t know the essential purpose that the job will serve.

Aha! Know you are accountable. For example, my response - yes, will allow the product to the market, which will serve the digital payment domain of this world, it is trusted by ordinary people worldwide while doing the money transaction.

PayHuddle broke my myth and insecurity about not knowing or having knowledge of something. It made me into someone who accepts that I don’t know and desperately wants to know that now. Cool right!
